Sisley Ecological Compound With Pump, 4.2-Ounce Box

I've used every high end, low end, middle end moisturizer known to man kind. SK-II, Oil of Olay, Clinique, Shiseido. You name it, I've tried it. Sisley Ecological Compound is the only thing that my face and I've agreed that it works best for me. I have the combination skin type, and when the weather gets dry, I break out. When the weather gets humid, I break out. When I am stressed, I break out. This product is the only one that I use to tame my wild skin.I've used it for over 7 years now, and I've always bought it from Saks or Neiman. Few years ago, I saw it available at costco dot com and though they have the online reviews, the product is not available. If one was to purchase one of these bottles at the department stores, it costs little over 200... I am so glad I found one from Amazon and the price is definitely unbeatable. The large 4.3 ounce bottle - you only need one quick pump, even less for an entire face. The remaining gets on my neck and my hands. I absolutely love the product. If you research more on Sisley, their product really is phenomenal. The product is more popular with someone who is a bit older (since I learned about this product from my grandmother, but she sticks to products that works well for her). If anyone is curious about the product, I suggest going into one of the big department store beauty counters and buying something that you may need, and as you make the purchase, as your sales associate if you can have a sample size (comes in a small packet)…

Prevage DAY Ultra Protection Anti-Aging Moisturize

I read the other reviews, and I believe that this moisturizer is not for oily or acne prone skin. It is intensely moisturizing and offers a superior protection against the sun which is my main concern because it is the number 1 source of wrinkles. I have used this cream all summer and throughout my vacation in the caribbean and have not had the usual dark spots I get during sun exposure. It has actually slightly evened out my skin tone but this is not a brightener like Obagi nu derm. On the other hand, I have not witnessed ANY dryness which ALWAYS happens to me after long sun exopsure in summer. After about 1.5 months, I noticed less visible lines on my forehead but I can't say yet because I know that it takes longer for an anti aging product to really perform efficiently. I believe it would show more drastic results on more mature skin. I dont think any of those products offer you results in 3 or 4 weeks, seriously, NONE of them. Let's be honest & realistic. If you want to take the best out of a product, you must use it regularly everyday for 2+ months to see the results you are looking for. I added this one to the night cream and I can say I am quite satisfied with the results and not disappointed by the claims of either, thus the 5 stars. Each one does what it says (the night cream is awesome but it is NOT for oily skin). I got the moisture and the sun protection I want from this one, and I have the feeling it complements the night cream. At least for once, I am not out…

Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Sand 1.7 oz

I was looking for a new tinted moisturiser after Clinique discontinued 'Almost Makeup'. This product is a little more expensive, but I actually think it has better coverage, it has a higher SPF of 20 and skin doesn't look as oily. Pretty happy! I found that the colour sand was too orange for my skin, so repurchased in the colour 'nude'.

La Mer La Mer Creme de la Mer - 2 fl. oz., 2 fl oz

51 of 59 people found the following review helpful 2.0 out of 5 starsNot Impressed, December 1, 2007 By Rod Reviewer (VA USA) - See all my reviewsFor many years I heard about the miracle that was purported to be "Creme de la Mer". However, not until about 10 years ago did I feel I was in a "comfortable" position to be able to afford to even try the product. Don't get me wrong: I have never minded shelling out dollars for skincare, and I have always believed you get what you pay for. I've been spending money on skincare now for over 20 years (just turned 41), and have always been complimented on how "good" I look for my age. Occasionally, even at 41, I still get carded. But enough about me: This review is about Creme de la Mer, and my extreme lack of enthusiasm about it. As I mentioned before, about 10 years ago I felt financially able to try it; however, even then, it still took me another 5 years to take the plunge and actually purchase it. It was December 2002 when I went to Neiman Marcus and shelled out nearly $400 for three products: the moisturizer, the serum, and the sunblock. Well, needless to say, the products did not make my skin look or feel as good as my $65 bottle of Lauder Resilience Lift Lotion.I have read several reviews here and I honestly believe that some people just try to convince themselves that a product is wonderful, to justify their "need" of shelling out lots of money on a luxurious (allegedly) skincare product.…

Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer 4 oz

This moisturizer feels good going on and visibly brightens the skin after use. Unfortunately the product smells so strongly of roses that I can't enjoy my breakfast in the morning if I've used it already. As this product contains both parabens (a known endocrine disruptor) and a bothersome amount of fragrance, I will likely not use again, especially as Perricone has other moisturizers that are both paraben and fragrance free.

Philosophy Hope in a Jar Daily Moisturizer, SPF 25, 2 Ounce

9 of 10 people found the following review helpful 2.0 out of 5 starsSmells like hell, May 11, 2007 By M. Matteson "Mauvelous Meg" (Sacramento, CA) - See all my reviews(REAL NAME)  I am all for "natural" products... without any unnecessary additives, but philosophy made a mistake on this one. It is almost unbearable to me! It smells so metallic and harsh. Once upon my face, I have to keep smelling it for at least an hour...(Until either the smell wears off or I become accustomed to it)My husband hated it too, especially the smell. And honestly, it was no better than the 5 dollar creams you can buy at any drug store. NOT a miracle lotion... not really anything but hype.

Cle De Peau Synactif Intensive Cream ( Unboxed ) - 40ml/1.4oz

Well, you might get a brief self-confidence boost but little else.Think about it: if there was even the possibility for a cream (no matter its price) to actually have any anti-aging effect, would celebrities ever decide to undergo strings of cosmetic surgeries to look younger? And while on the subject, how good is that actually working? Please see my submitted pictures for an answer to that.I am posting this because this is the most expensive anti-aging cream on Amazon.Take this advice from a Biologist: the only anti-aging cream that actually works is a...high-SPF sunscreen. That is because the major cause of thinner skin and wrinkles is sun damage to our skin cells which then have to regenerate - and that cannot be done forever. Once a limit (called the Hayflick limit) is reached our cells cannot reproduce anymore and aging becomes apparent. You can pick up a good sunscreen for less than ten bucks. Anything else is just packaging, marketing and false advertising.Life is too short.Try to enjoy all your ages and do not worry about a couple of wrinkles.

Kinerase Ultimate Day Moisturizer For Dry Skin 2.8 oz

The last laptop I owned was an hp compaq which lasted about 3 years and has disappointed me on several occasions. I got this Toshiba about a week ago and it was a much needed upgrade. The only thing that I really don't like about it is that it collects fingerprints and smudges instantly and the speakers aren't very loud...but besides that it's great!Pros: Looks nice, has a small ac adapter (the one for my compaq was huge!), stays cool with side vent, long battery life, not a lot of pre-installed junk, nice keyboard design... This product is exactly as I expected and so far everything is working great! Thank you Toshiba!

3LAB WW Cream

Noticed a difference the first time I sampled this in a store, and had to have it regardless the cost. After finishing my first jar, I was more than willing to repurchase it. You don't have to use as much as other eye creams, so it does last a long time.

within a few days, I started breaking out with little white bumps all over my forehead and chin. When I first used it, I found it to be really hydrating yet not greasy. I really wanted to like it because my skin felt really good at first. but then when the little bumps started showing up, i started getting worried. i kept using it for another week, hoping that my skin would get used to it, but it never did. so i stopped and teh bumps disappeared within 2 days.
